At 6:48 p.m. the Holy Father Benedict XVI proceeded by the holy Cross, went out on the benediction balcony of the Vatican Basilica
Dear brothers and sisters to give the salutation for the waiting people and give the apostolic benediction “Urbi et Orbi”
The words of the New Pontific:
“Dear Brothers and sisters
After the grate pope John Paul the II, the cardinals have elected me, a simple, humble worker in vineyard of the Lord.
I am comforted by the fact that the Lord knows how to work and act even with insufficient instruments. And above all, I entrust myself to your prayers.
With the joy of the risen Lord, and our confidence in his constant help, we will go forward. The Lord will help us and Mary his most holy mother will be alongside us.

في تمام الساعة 6:48 مساء بتوقيت روما "اوروبا الغربية"، البابا بندكتس "مبارك" السّادس عشر يتقدّمه الصليب المقدّس، خرج الى "شرفة البركة" من كاتدرائية الفاتيكان لإعطاء التحيّة للناس المنتظرين، وليعطي البركة الرسولية "للمدينة -روما- والعالم"كلمات الحبر
الاعظم الجديد:
الاخوة وألاخوات الاعزاء بعد البابا الكبير يوحنا بولص الثاني، السادة الكرادلة قد إنتخبوني، انا العامل المتواضع البسيط في كرم الرب. تواسيني حقيقة هي أن الرب يعرف كيف يعمل ويتصرّف حتى مع الآلات الغير الكافية. وقبل كل شيء، فانني أئتمن نفسي إلى صلاواتكم. مع بـهجة الرب القائم، وثقتنا في مساعدته الثابتة، سنتقدّم الى الامام. الرب سيساعدنا، ومريم أمّه الكلية القداسة ستكون الى جانبنا. شكرا لكم "
